Hunter’s Gulch

A Large Scale Interactive Escape Room-esque Style Experience

At Hunter’s Gulch, guests get the opportunity to take on the role of bounty hunter in the old west town of Golden Ridge and to help Sheriff Dobson save it from a new gang of outlaws. Each bounty hunter receives a gun utilizing IR technology, and a target to bring to justice within 2 hours.

They can find their target by looking for clues, talking to folks of the town, and interacting with the environment. Before entering the town, guests enter a train station and board a simulated train ride to take them to Golden Ridge, which has been renamed to Hunter's Gulch due to all of the bounty hunters arriving to help out.

This project was developed in the Immersive Experience Studio course at University of Central Florida with Dave Hoffman as the instructor.

Elements not created by me were the plants in the facade, 3D rockwork, materials, and metahumans which were all from Quixel, the western clothing from Metatailor, and the wheelchair by Andrei Ghenoiu, which was only used to show accessibility.
